Apostle Highlands Golf Course is a par 72, 18-hole championship golf course in Bayfield, Wisconsin with enormous greens, many over 100 feet wide, that break towards the lake-even uphill! Our public golf course features 3 sets of tees making Apostle Highlands, with its spectacular views, playable for most every golfer.
You don't have to be a big hitter to score well but being straight off the tee will be important to keeping the ball in play. Many of the holes are tree-lined with trouble behind most of the greens if your approach is long.
With the changing elevations and stunning panoramas, one of the biggest challenges will be keeping your eye on the ball as you admire the view!
Length is 6,332 from the back tees, 5,887 from the middle tees, and 5,127 from the forward tee boxes. Water comes into play on 8 holes. Both the fairways and greens are heavily contoured resulting in some uphill and side hill lies in the fairway.
Lake Superior can be seen on 13 holes. The full service clubhouse takes advantage of the beautiful views, too, with plenty of windows in all directions inside and large, tree shaded decks outside which are great locations to relax after your round!

down the middle - your option. Best option is left center of fairway for
your approach. (335, 310, 293)

Most Photographed Hole: Long off tee gives you a downhill second. Most
hit from the flat and have a blind approach to a green that slopes away
with two large burms guarding the green. (383, 370, 295)
