Ever wonder why after taking a golf lesson you may see little or no change in your ball flight? No matter how much you practice or incorporate what I am trying to change in the golf lesson, if your equipment is improperly fit it can be difficult to change your ball flight. Improperly fit golf equipment can have as much of an influence on poor ball flight as poor swing mechanics. My job is to maximize a player's ability to hit quality golf shots and enjoy the great game of golf through marrying a players lesson program with proper clubfitting. Golf instruction is just one key component in achieving success on the golf course. I believe in the power of golf, how it enriches the soul, and its ability to change lives and I genuinely love helping people and they take joy from others’ improvement.

Wes has been with Apostle Highlands for the last two years as an Assistant Golf Professional. Prior to coming to AHGC, Wes played for the golf team at the University of Wisconsin. After graduation, he worked for one of Milwaukee, WI's premier country clubs, Westmoor Country Club. While at Westmoor he qualified for the Royal Cup, a list of the top Assistant Golf Professionals in Wisconsin and he is currently exempt for the WPGA State Open. He brings a wealth of playing experience as a competitve golfer and is very knowledgeable in the realms of course management, club fitting, golf fitness and tournament/golf preparation.
Wes Hansen offers range lessons at 50/hr and 30/half hr. He is also available for playing lessons(100 9 Holes/ 150 18 Holes).
